These chewable are perfect for kids, adults, and of course, made especially for those who have difficulty in swallowing. It's also perfect medicine for the sick people. I take 1000 mg or about 2 capsules or 2 tables of Vitamin C per day, and this time I had the pleasure of chewing 2 tasty vitamins with more enthusiasm! To start with, the tablets were really cute, even as an adult I had been excited to chew on them, what more would the kids think of these? My niece also had been really excited to take her vitamins because this was a fun way for them to be regularly reminded to take their vitamins daily. The tablets were little round thick orange tablets, which were tasty and orangey in flavor, it doesn't taste sour but it does taste sweet! The texture is kind of grainy and it's not very hard to chew on, it dissolves quickly, which is a good ... thing, but for people who have a sweet tooth just like me I desperately want to eat another one, since it's so delicious! When you're actually chewing the tablets, it's just as if you're eating orange-flavored candy. It has this sweet tangy taste that makes you want to take a handful! The taste does linger in my mouth and my breath has now got this tropical scent, tangy oranges! What I like about is that Kirkland makes wonderful products, this is yeast-free, sodium-free, and it has got no preservatives. It is just as potent as the other Vitamin C's in the market, but the only downside is that I can't buy this bottle forever as it is really expensive. There are other cheaper products that were really the original Vitamin C's to start with, such as Ascorbic Acid, it is way cheaper and it has just got the same effect and potency just like Kirkland's Vitamin C's, so unless I learn how to remind myself and take my daily vitamins, I can survive on ascorbic acid alone. This product is great for kids however, they will be reinforced to take their vitamins in a fun way and they won't forget or feel scared having the notion that medicine tastes bad! The only thing adults, especially parents have to be cautious for is that kids don't see this as candy, because it just looks and tastes like one! I recommend this product a 9.
